In our hospital, Mutterhaus der Borromäerinnen, you will be attended to by an experienced and qualified team of midwives, nurses, obstetricians, pediatricians, and anesthesiologists. For the women who deliver here we provide the best possible conditions for one of life`s most special moments - the birth of your baby. In our Perinatal Center problems and specific questions can be discussed and solved by a team of obstetricians, midwives, pediatricians, pediatric surgeons, and anesthesiologists. In addition our diabetes team , consisting of diabetologists, diabetic counselors, and psychologists, is available for the care of expectant mothers with diabetes (type 1, type 2, and gestational diabetes).
We take care of the mothers-to-be before delivery by preparing them for the birth of their babies with a variety of events and activities. The nurses, pediatric nurses, and lactation counselors happily offer their support during your stay in the maternity unit.
In the first days back at home with your newborn we are also available with our advice and assistance.
Young parents can get to know each other and exchange tips and ideas in our café for nursing mothers (Stillcafé).
The mother-baby bond can also be enhanced by a baby massage and baby swimming.
