Our maternity and newborn unit has the atmosphere of a “Mother-Child Hotel”. You can relax at the breakfast buffet and enjoy the time with your baby. It is especially important for both of you that your stay is as calm and pleasant as possible.
After delivery, you can depend on assistance from the midwives and nurses to help and answer questions concerning infant care and breastfeeding. In the maternity unit, there will be nurses, pediatric nurses, and a breastfeeding specialist IBCLC (International Board Certified Lactation Consultant) to care for you. A physical therapist will supervise the first excercises geared to returning the womb to its pre-pregnancy size. Nursing mothers can feed their babies in peace in a room set aside for this purpose.
If you would like, your baby can stay with you in your room around the clock (rooming-in). If you want to have a rest, your baby is safe and well taken care of in our newborn nursery. A baby massage is offered on request in the nursery twice a week.
