On referral from your physician, an expanded sonographical examination can be performed in high risk pregnancies at the Mutterhaus. This includes Doppler sonography and malformation sonography. Our ultrasound examination is acknowledged as an advanced ultrasound program according to the German Society for Sonography (DEGUM II). If a fetal heart anomaly or a delayed growth pattern is suspected, an echocardiography will be performed. If required, an examination of the amniotic fluid (amniocentesis) is also a possible diagnostic procedure.
