Klinikum Mutterhaus der Borromäerinnen Ehrang
The Department of Anesthesia and Intensive Care Medicine is responsible for the monitoring, protection, and restoration of vital bodily functions of patients in the area of operative medicine, in the Intensive Care Unit, and in emergency services. In this broad field of activity the physicians and nurses of this department work closely together for the benefit of the patient.
We use the most modern medical therapeutic methods in so far as their beneficial effect for the patient can be scientifically demonstrated. In the increasingly specialized environment of today’s modern hospital we represent an area of expertise with points of contact to all other medical disciplines and view ourselves as the “hospital general practitioners”. We are committed to treating the patient in his entirety as well as the family members in a humane and competent manner, and to having an open ear for their concerns and needs.
